NorEasterNick To Address PR Council of Greater Atlantic City Nov. 28
Attendees will hear from this popular weather forecaster about how he built a successful brand by creating a hyper-local weather broadcasting platform that attracts tens of thousands of viewers. Pittman will also talk about his community service work, including NorEasterNick’s Rainy Day Project.
“From Rags to Riches, How NorEaster Nick Developed a Global Brand,” the meeting runs noon - 2 p.m. at the Tree House in the Atlantic City Convention Center and is open to the public. About the Speaker:
President & CEO of NorCast Media Group, Pittman got his start in local broadcast and established himself as a trusted, no-nonsense weather forecaster. When his work in broadcast television ended, he used his skills and knowledge to start a hyper-local weather broadcasting platform and then expanded his business to include digital marketing, weather consulting for municipalities and video production. “I grew up with very little,” writes Pittman on his Facebook page. “… a core goal of mine has been to give back whenever possible.“ He recently kicked off NorEasterNick’s Rainy Day Project and seeks to raise $25,000 to provide $100 grocery store gift cards to 250 needy families at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
