Community Car Cruise and Local Racing History
Join us Tuesday, June 16th at the Weymouth Township municipal building in Dorothy, NJ for a community car cruise honoring our veterans, and a presentation on local racing history. No registration is required for the car cruise and all vehicles are welcome. Donations will be accepted to benefit Veterans Haven. This is a casual community event open to all. Show your patriotic pride by decorating your cars and wearing red, white and blue in honor of our veterans. There will be music provided by a DJ, food and craft vendors, and a free tree giveaway. The car cruise will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Weymouth Township Municipal Building, 45 S. Jersey Ave, Dorothy, NJ. The meeting room of the municipal building will host a memorabilia room featuring classic car nostalgia. A presentation on the old Pleasantville and Vineland raceways will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. There is no rain date for the car cruise, and the indoor program will be held rain or shine.
