Springtime is here (kinda). And one of my favorite warm weather activities is going to Farmers' Markets. Being able to buy locally grown produce, baked goods, as well as arts, crafts, and any other goodies is such a fun experience! Luckly, Philadelphia is home to a bunch of farmers’ markets, they’re all over the city! Check out the ones listed below, don’t forget to bring your reusable tote bag!

Ambler Farmers’ Market
Saturdays from 9am to 12pm, Opening May 7th - November

At the corner of Butler & Maple Avenues, next to La Provence restaurant.
The Ambler Farmers’ Market is a weekly, outdoor event where local farmers and food artisans provide fresh foods grown and produced in the region. Shop here for sustainably raised meats and pastured poultry and eggs. Enjoy some of the finest, most exciting food and beverages from the farmers, food artisans, winemakers, brewers, distillers, and more. Clarks Farmers' Market

This market is one of The Food Trust's largest with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, baked and canned goods, meats and specialty products. Clark Park Saturday market is a neighborhood favorite that operates year-round thanks to support from Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, Friends of Clark Park and the University of the Sciences
All of the farmers at the Clark Park markets accept WIC and Senior FMNP vouchers for fresh fruits and vegetables. The ACCESS/food stamps card is accepted at every stand at the market, except food trucks. For every $5 that customers spend using food stamp benefits, they receive a $2 Philly Food Bucks coupon that can be used on fruits and vegetables.
