Join Atlanta’s creative community for Reel Talk, a monthly short film screening series presented by Reel Friends. Each event features a curated selection of locally made short films across genres—followed by live filmmaker commentary, where directors discuss their process, challenges, and inspiration.

As the series grows, submissions are now open for 2026 via FilmFreeway, inviting filmmakers across the greater Atlanta area to submit shorts, documentaries, or experimental work for future events.
Founded by Atlanta producer-director Rocco Shapiro, Reel Talk transforms the historic Tara Theatre into a hub for cinematic collaboration and conversation.
