2026 HBCU Alumni Red Ball Tennis Mixer
Get ready for a night of fun, school pride and friendly competition at the HBCU Alumni Red Ball Tennis Mixer, taking place Friday, September 18, at the South Fulton Tennis Center as part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the HBCU National Tennis Championships. Whether you’re a seasoned tennis player or have never picked up a racquet, everyone is welcome!
Alumni are encouraged to represent their HBCU by wearing school colors or an HBCU T-shirt and teaming up for fast-paced mini-tennis matches featuring smaller racquets, mini nets and low-compression balls—making the competition fun and accessible for all skill levels.
Here’s how it works:
- Participants will be assigned to one of four co-ed teams.
- Teams will battle it out in mini-tennis matches, with each game played to 10 points.
- Every match is a chance to earn points for your team.
- The team with the most points will take home a bling-worthy jewelry prize!
- The HBCU with the most registered alumni will win a $2,500 donation to its participating HBCU Championship tennis team.
The $25 entry fee includes an event swag bag, music, food and mocktails until 9 p.m., plus an evening of laughter, connection and competition with fellow HBCU alumni.
