Dulcé Sloan Show

These shows are a return to Sloan's roots, as she spent much of her childhood in Atlanta, performed her debut show at Laughing Skull Lounge in 2009, and became a resident comedian at the venue. Her star continued to rise in Atlanta's comedy scene, but her big break was in 2015 when she was named one of comedy's Best New Faces at Montreal's Just for Laughs comedy festival and won the "StandUp NBC" showcase. Sloan then went on to appear on "Conan" and "The Steve Harvey Show" and became a correspondent on "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" in 2017. In 2019, she headlined her own Comedy Central special that was named one of the best comedies of 2019 by The New York Times. "We gave her a lot of love here, and she's gone on to do incredible things. We're proud that she used to perform at our stage before she had so much success," says Bob Place, general manager of Laughing Skull Lounge. Now Sloan is looking forward to sharing new material with her hometown crowd. "I am very excited to be back at the Laughing Skull and look forward to sharing my new hour with them," says Sloan. "It's the most personal hour I have ever written." Tickets for Sloan's shows range from $35-$45 and are available to purchase at laughingskulllounge.com. The Thursday show is at 8 p.m., and the Friday and Saturday shows are at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
