Fervid Camraderie explores Kiara's feelings and emotions while growing up as a queer and black woman in the South. They strive to incorporate black LGBTQIA+ history from the area, such as queer changemakers and nightlife. Presented in partnership with South Fulton Arts and Hapeville Depot Museum, one of the most important aspects of the project is to create affordable works so that people of all backgrounds may own some of the work from the show, not just be featured in it.
An opening reception will be held on Saturday, June 15 and is free and open to the public, so stop by with a friend for complimentary refreshments! The exhibit will be on view from June 12-29 during regular museum hours.
