AMIS Atlanta will host its 48th annual Welcome Reception on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Georgia Tech’s CODA Tech Square Plaza. The free community event welcomes international students and scholars from colleges and universities across metro Atlanta, many of whom are new to the United States.
Guests will enjoy live music, a catered reception, interactive activities, and opportunities to meet local volunteers, community members, and students from around the world. More than 300 guests are expected to attend.
AMIS Atlanta is a nonprofit organization that has connected international students with local friends and families since 1978.
Admission is free thanks to sponsors and donors, but registration is required.
