The Academy Theatre and Lynna Schmidt Productions are presenting Clue: The Musical the hilarious murder mystery comedy inspired by the Parker Brothers board game. Murder and blackmail are on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble at Boddy Manor for a night they’ll never forget! The audience gets to play the game with them and decides whodunit. Tickets are on sale now. Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife? Or was it Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? CLUE is the ultimate whodunit that will leave you dying of laughter and keep you guessing until the final twist. Directed by Lynna Schmidt the cast includes Allen Cox as Colonel Mustard, Ashaunti Samms as Miss Scarlet, Lynna Schmidt as Mrs. Peacock, John Jenkins as Mrs. White, Spencer Perdeck as Professor Plum, Reece Breedlove as Mr. Green, Jordan Mitchell as Mr. Boddy, and Kristi Taylor as the Detective. Clue: The Musical's book is by Peter DePietro, music by Galen Blum, Wayne Barker and Vinnie Martucci, and lyrics by Tom Chiodo. The production also features scenic design by Art Moore, costume design by Ladisa Banks, lighting design by Erica French, sound design by Robert Drake, and choreography by Lorenne Fey. This fan favorite is rated PG. Lynna Schmidt says “as soon as I read the script, I knew that I wanted to direct this piece and share this fun musical with families. The cast is amazing and brings life to these beloved board game characters. Artistic Director Robert Drake says, “We have an amazing cast and everyone will laugh at this madcap romp.
