Fall Open House - Kline's Island Sewer System
KISS serves 15 communities (about 270,000 people) by transporting 32 million gallons of wastewater daily and treating it at the Kline’s Island Wastewater Treatment Plant. About $300 million dollars is needed over the next 10 years to ensure this critical system continues to protect our health and our environment. Lehigh County Authority (LCA) is the regional municipal agency tasked with developing the plan, but it takes participation from all communities and the public to ensure the KISS sewer plan will meet the region’s needs for decades into the future.
