THE PROMENADE SHOPS AT SAUCON VALLEY TO CELEBRATE SANTA’S ARRIVAL DURING SPECTACULAR TREE LIGHTING
On Saturday, November 18th, The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley, an open-air lifestyle shopping center in Center Valley, Pennsylvania (www.thepromenadeshopsatsauconvalley.com), will welcome Santa Claus as he arrives at Town Square via fire truck just in time for the center’s spectacular tree-lighting event, presented by the Lehigh Valley Health Network. Starting at 5 p.m., families are invited to find the perfect spot to welcome the holiday season as they gather around the center’s 35-foot Christmas tree with a 7-foot star. During the event, the center will showcase the incredible talents of local school choirs and dance groups and will host a performance at The Patio by The Flying Ivories, an entertaining duo providing an all-request sing-along on two pianos that is part music, part comedy. At 8 p.m., Santa will light the tree, then make his way to his festive holiday home inside the stone gazebo in Town Square (near Starbucks) where children and their families can visit and share their wish lists with Old St. Nick. The evening’s festivities will conclude as families take professional photos with Santa; while walk-ups will be accommodated on a case-by-case basis, reservations are strongly encouraged. Santa will also be available for professional photos taken by Dan’s Camera City in the gazebo on select dates from November 18th through December 24th. Photo packages range from $27 to $49.
