On Sunday, November 30, the Gap Theatre unleashes Richard (THE GOONIES) Donner’s cult fantasy classic LADYHAWKE (1985) in all its 35mm glory along with a very special pre-show presentation by Hawk Mountain Sanctuary featuring a live in-theatre hawk demonstration!
Enter a world of dark curses, doomed romance, and high adventure where a thief (Matthew Broderick), a knight (Rutger Hauer), and a woman of mystery (Michelle Pfeiffer) battle fate itself. By day she is a hawk, by night he is a wolf—together, never human at the same time, always torn apart. With its sweeping medieval landscapes, moody atmosphere, and one of the most gloriously ’80s rock scores ever burned onto celluloid, Ladyhawke is pure fantasy cinema magic.
