Wolfpack Search and Recovery (WPSAR) is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) non profit missing persons search and recovery organization formed in November 2014. We are a team of over 15 locally and nationally certified volunteer members including military veterans, firefighters, EMT's and certified search and rescue volunteers, who are committed to providing search and recovery resources to public safety agencies in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. In addition to our ground team, we also have a well-established K9 Team (as well as several up and coming K9's in training) and a newly formed Drone team that we utilize to help execute our missions. Our organization never self deploys and never charges for our services. In fact, our team members typically pay out of pocket for the privilege of assisting police and emergency services with missing persons searches.
WPSAR also strives to educate the communities we serve in developing an understanding of what search and recovery is, how to handle a missing persons incident and educating children in how to properly handle situations where they become lost. Our volunteers have proudly assisted scouting groups in obtaining search and rescue badges, provided engaging presentations to children at summer camps and performed outreach at assisted living/residential behavioral health centers.
