Girls on the Run - Cheers to Strong Girls Bingo Night
Girls on the Run Lehigh Valley and Pocono is excited to host its first Annual Cheers to Strong Girls Bingo Night—an evening of fun, community, and inspiration! The event will bring together supporters, volunteers, business leaders, and community members for bingo games, great prizes, and a short inspirational program.
Proceeds from Bingo Night will directly support program scholarships and financial assistance for girls who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in Girls on the Run. Currently, more than 45% of participants rely on financial aid to join our programs, making this fundraiser critical to our mission.
Girls on the Run Lehigh Valley and Pocono is a nonprofit serving girls in grades 3–8 across the greater Lehigh Valley, Poconos, and NEPA regions. Through a research-based curriculum that creatively integrates running and physical activity, we inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident. Each 10-week season, held every spring and fall at more than 100 schools and community sites, equips girls with life skills such as confidence, goal-setting, teamwork, and resilience. Participants also design and complete a community impact project, learning the importance of giving back.
Every season concludes with the GOTR 5K—a noncompetitive, celebratory event that allows every girl to cross the finish line with pride. For our participants, the finish line is not the end, but the beginning of a lifelong journey of confidence and strength.
