Stuffy Sleepover

What happens when the museum closes for the night? When the lights go out and the last visitors head home, the museum comes alive with fun for our stuffed guests! Join us for our Stuffy Sleepover and let your favorite plush friend experience an evening of after-hours exploration, imagination, and adventure. Drop off your stuffed animal at the Sigal Museum, say goodnight, and leave the rest to us. Throughout the evening, your cuddly companion will explore the museum’s galleries, make new stuffed animal friends, and discover history in a whole new way. From wandering through exhibits to sharing special moments with their fellow sleepover guests, it’s sure to be a night they’ll never forget. The next day, return to pick up your well-rested friend and hear all about their exciting adventures. Each participant will receive photos capturing some of the fun their stuffed animal had while everyone else was asleep, along with a special keepsake to remember their overnight stay at the museum. This family-friendly program encourages creativity and imaginative play while introducing children to the museum in a fun and memorable way. It’s the perfect opportunity for young history lovers—and their favorite plush companions—to create lasting memories together. Drop-off: Thursday, September 18, from 3:00–3:30 p.m. Pick-up: Friday, September 19, from 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. $5 suggested donation per stuffed animal, or free for NCHGS members. Space is limited, so be sure to register your stuffed friend in advance. We can’t wait to welcome them for a night they’ll always remember!
