We are so pleased to have the Lesters for a return engagement at Milford Park! The Lesters come to us all the way from the state of Missouri. Their inspiring music is sure to brighten your evening. The trio has wonderful harmony that will set your heart singing. They are a family singing group that has been blessing Christians and bringing the message of the Gospel to radio, television, churches, and other settings, besides the Fall Festival of Gospel Music in the Meramec Caverns, MO. Their musical ability has been passed down through generations of Lesters. The Lester Family Gospel Music ministry got its start back in 1925. If only Harvey Lester could see them now – his grandson and great-grandson carrying on his legacy! One last interesting stat: Three of the original Lesters have been inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame; Harvey B. Lester (2004) ~ Herschel L. Lester (2008) ~ Opal A. Lester (2011). Come and experience their sounds of praise to God, and you are sure to leave blessed! Outdoor Services are held in our open-air tabernacle, rain or shine. Saturday evening programs begin at 6:30 PM. A free-will love offering will be received to support the musicians & speakers leading our worship services, as well as the ministry of Milford Park. Our Milford Park Snack Shop serves dinner platters from 5:00 to 6:00 pm before every Saturday night concert. The price for the full meal is $ 9.00 and includes a hot sandwich, a choice of salad, a choice of chips, small dish of fresh fruit and choice of water or soda. A typical platter example is a cheeseburger (with all the fixins'), dish of coleslaw, chips, dish of grapes & can of soda, all for just $9.00! If you have a little time before the concert, stop in the Camp Store. We are well-stocked and happy to greet you! After the Saturday evening program, our Snack Shop, Camp Store & outdoor pavilion are open for you. Enjoy a time of fellowship while having some hard dipped ice cream or a dish of pierogies. We have many items on our menu to satisfy your sweet tooth or snack craving! (SNACK SHOP & CAMP STORE are CASH ONLY) ALL PROGRAMS AND SERVICES ARE OPEN TO EVERYONE Come join us throughout the summer and bring a friend!
