A Day in Hyde Park: Vanderbilt Mansion Tour & Culinary Institute Luncheon Bus Trip
Join Lower Macungie Library as we travel to the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York for a tour at 10:15am and lunch at 11:30am. Then we will travel to the Vanderbilt Mansion for a tour at 2:00pm.
Our Menu at the Ristorante Caterina de Medici:
Crespella Di Magro
Spinach-Ricotta Crepe with Parmesan Cheese
Pollo Alla Valdostana
Pan-Fried Chicken with Fontina, Mozzarella, Mushrooms, Potatoes
Mousse Al Cioccolato Al Latte
Chocolate Mousse, Hazelnut Praline, Soft Chocolate Cake, Carmel Whipped Cream
Coffee, Decaf, Tea and Iced Tea
Cost per person is $140 which includes lunch, 2 tours, bus and driver’s tip.
The bus leaves LML at 6:00 AM and returns to LML at 8:00 PM. Please report to the library at 5:30am. Participants will need to pack a breakfast, snacks, and dinner in their own cooler.

Dress code is business casual.
Please note the following information from the Vanderbilt website about accessibility: "Disability access is limited at the Vanderbilt Mansion itself, as most electric wheelchairs and many manual wheelchairs do not fit in the small historic (1935) interior elevator. Most visitors with disabilities are required to stand to move between floors on the elevator. Please call the Vanderbilt Mansion to discuss your particular needs at 845-229-7770."
