Watercolor Painting & Narrative Illustration Workshop for Kids/Teens
This fun one-day workshop is ideal for children who are interested in learning the basics of watercolor painting and narrative illustration . This workshop is part of the school's Summer Academy, a program of arts enrichment workshops that is open to the community.
The workshop will begin with learning some basic techniques and then putting those techniques to practice with the creation of a watercolor image. Participants will learn how to bring their image to life to help tell a story. Participants will select from several image outlines or narrative worksheets created by the instructor. Brushes, paints, etc. will be supplied.

This workshop is designed for the beginner to intermediate artist. In addition to group instruction, the instructor will work with each participant individually at their skill level. Open to children ages 11-14. (Early Drop-Off available starting at 8:15 AM.). The Summer Academy program operates as a school fundraiser. For more information on how to register and more, visit CharterArts.org.
