Kutztown Jazz Festival 2023
The Kutztown Jazz Festival is a judged event featuring 6 middle school jazz bands and 8 high school jazz bands.
The MS Jazz Festival starts at 12pm with the Kutztown and Greenwich Elementary Schools combined Jazz Band opening the event. The scheduled MS bands to perform are Boyertown MS East, Springford MS, Boyertown MS West, Muhlenberg MS, Fleetwood MS, and Kutztown MS. An awards ceremony will follow.
The HS Jazz Festival tentatively starts at 3:45pm. The scheduled HS bands to perform are Twin Valley HS, Boyertown Jazz Ensemble, Exeter HS, Oley Valley HS, Pocono Mountain HS, Brandywine Heights HS, Boyertown Big Band, and Kutztown HS. An awards ceremony will follow.
Admission $8 adults $5 kids. Food and raffle prizes will be available for purchase to raise funds for KASMA, as well as Candy Grams to acknowledge your favorite musicians. Funds are used to purchase instruments and uniforms and to fund scholarships, music trips, and our senior banquet. KASMA supports all music students K-12 in the Kutztown Area School District.
