Dementia education and support group: Meaningful Activities
Keystone Villa at Douglassville invites the public to its monthly dementia education and support group, bringing family caregivers together in a safe, compassionate space to share experiences, gain helpful insights and resources, and find moments of joy.
The group meets on the first Thursday of every month at the personal care building, 1152 Ben Franklin Highway E. Attendance is free.
Join us Thursday, Aug. 6, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for “Meaningful Activities for People Living with Dementia.” Learn about reminiscence therapy and how the use of familiar items, such as old photos, vintage housewares, or favorite music, helps spark positive memories, encourage conversation, and create meaningful moments of connection.
