Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 3, when we celebrate communion together and launch a unique four-week sermon series titled, “All You Need Is Love: Faith Lessons from the Beatles.” Each week, we’ll explore the spiritual themes found in some of the most iconic songs ever written. Think about the enduring messages in “Let It Be,” “Help!,” “Here Comes the Sun,” and of course, “All You Need Is Love.” These songs—written in the turbulence of the 1960s—still speak to our longing for peace, healing, hope, and joy. On August 3, I’ll be joined by an enthusiastic Beatles fan, to talk about the band’s lasting impact and why their music continues to resonate across generations. Whether you remember the Ed Sullivan Show or just know the Beatles through Spotify, there will be something for everyone to connect with.
The series concludes on August 24 with an unforgettable butterfly release, a powerful visual expression of transformation, hope, and the beauty of God’s creation. It’s always a highlight of the summer and a moving way to end our worship series.
