Sound bath & relaxation at Jay’s Local
What to expect:
We will be on the floor on our yoga mats; you can lay down or sit, however you feel most comfortable
Elaheh will guide you to settle in, feel grounded, and will then take you on a sound journey; all you have to do is relax and let go
Elaheh uses a singing bowl to start and close the session; for the remainder of the time, she primarily uses her voice accompanied by the Shruti Box, an Indian drone instrument with healing qualities
Duration:
1 hour
Arrival:
I suggest arriving ~10 minutes early so you can set up your mat, get comfortable
What to bring/wear:
Yoga mat or something similar to sit/lay on
Pillows, blankets, and eye masks are optional but recommended for extra cozyness & comfort
Comfortable clothing
Who is this suited for:
All are welcome though not specifically designed for children; however, if you know your child will enjoy an hour of stillness, please feel free to bring them
No experience or participation necessary
This is for anyone looking to try a new method of relaxation and healing
