Built in the 1860’s, the un-remodeled farmhouse is one of the best living reminders of rural life in Berks County. The Festival will feature horse-drawn wagon rides, a nature trail, demonstrations of old-time tools and farming activities, Native American displays, Pennsylvania German crafts, local history, Revolutionary War enactors, Civil War Display, period music and old-time games for the children. Food by the Virginville Grange and Heisler’s Ice Cream will be available for purchase. There is no admission charge to the festival and parking is just $3.
