Two Award-Winning Hunterdon County Poets
Douglas Piccinnini of Frenchtown is a poet, fiction writer, and screenwriter whose latest book of poetry is "Does This World Want Me To Have Problems?" His "mysterious and revelatory" (Brian Henry) poems have appeared in the Academy of American Poets' Poem-a-Day, Tupelo Quarterly, and Colorado Review, as well as in several chapbooks and full-length collections.
Paul Ilechko of Lambertville is a British-American poet whose carefully-observed poems have been published in the Bennington Review, Night Heron Barks, and the Inflectionist Review, in his chapbooks "Pain Sections," "Bartok in Winter" and "Graph of Life," and in his full-length collection being published by Gnashing Teeth Publishing in 2025.
Free and all are welcome. The authors will read from and sign their book and will be interviewed by Poetry Curator Helen O'Connor.
