Pennsylvania Sinfonia Presents "Idyllic"
In this "Idyllic" (peaceful, picturesque) concert, Sinfonia, a professional chamber orchestra, will perform Richard Wagner's lyrical "Siegfried Idyll," written as a gift for his wife after the birth of their son, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 6. Beethoven described this work, known as his "Pastoral Symphony,' as "more of an expression of feeling than painting."
