Barn Dance at the Historic Dreibelbis Farm in Virginville
On Sunday, September 28th, the Dreibelbis Farm Historical Society will host an old-fashioned Barn Dance at the Historic Dreibelbis Farm in Virginville. The afternoon will open at 1 PM with food being served and guided tours of the farmhouse. Music and dancing will get underway at 1:30 with all activities wrapping up about 4:30 PM. Music will be provided by Days of Old and the dance caller will be Lester Miller. There is no entrance fee, but donations to benefit the historic farm’s preservation programs will be gladly accepted. Refreshments will be available at a nominal cost. The house tours will be offered for a $6 fee. Dancers, music lovers, and other visitors may also check out the farmhouse cellar, including the deep cold cellar,
The 180+ acre historic farm has been owned by the Dreibelbis family for nearly 250 years. The Dreibelbis Farm Historical Society is a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and protect the Historic Dreibelbis Farm and to make it available to the public for educational, historical, and environmental purposes.
