Keystone Family Alliance Fundraiser and Awareness Event unSEEN
Join Keystone Family Alliance as we work to bring children, caregivers, and caseworkers involved in the child welfare system to a place of being SEEN, loved, and embraced. Learn how you can make a difference in the life of a vulnerable child in our community. We will enjoy a fun dessert auction with desserts donated from bakeries, restaurants, and bakers from all over the Lehigh Valley, while hearing author and speaker Julie Henning share her inspiring story of adoption and redemption. Born after WWII in S. Korea, Julie experienced a life of extreme hardship and became orphaned as a child. She was eventually adopted by Bucks County Nobel-prize winner Pearl S. Buck. Julie has shared her story with universities, president's wives, conferences, and even the US congress and received the Pearl S Buck Woman of the Year award.
This event will help fund our mission and raise awareness of the needs of local children and families involved in the child welfare system. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres will be provided.
