Wildlands Conservancy: Wild in the Parks! Snowshoeing 101
Wild in the Parks! is a year-round series of nature-based programming showcasing Allentown’s city parks. This month: What started thousands of years ago as an essential mode of winter transportation has evolved into a popular recreational activity. Find out what to expect when venturing out on your first snowshoe adventure from this guided winter hike. Snowshoes and poles are provided.
This program is free of charge thanks to funding from the City of Allentown, but preregistration is required and space is limited. This program is entirely outdoors be outdoors so dress for the weather. Appropriate for ages 5 and up.
