Lecture: Washington Crossing the Delaware and the Battle of Trenton
“Washington’s crossing of the Delaware River and the Battle of Trenton were part of the Ten Crucial Days campaign of 1776. This was a major turning point in the Revolutionary war – this dramatic victory boosted the battered Continental Army’s morale and provided a much needed victory for Washington’s troops – a dramatic victory that boosted the battered army’s morale.
