Mahoning Valley Celebration of Community, 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk, Huge Basket Raffle and BBQ
CELEBRATION of COMMUNITY EVENT
Old fashioned carnival feel with all types of food including chicken and pork BBQ and funnel cakes. HUGE basket raffle and a vendor and craft area. Easy kids' games for prizes, bounce houses, and firefighter challenge. Includes a 5K run and 1 mile all abilities fun walk. Backyard cornhole tournament. Simple, affordable, laid back, family-oriented fun for everyone. A time to celebrate our past, our accomplishments, and all that is good about living in this great community.
RACE/WALK FiRE 5K and 1 MILE WALK FOR WELLNESS sponsored by LEHIGH VALLEY HOSPITAL - Carbon
Immerse yourself in the beauty and challenge of our agricultural heritage. While the racecourse is mostly pavement, embrace the spirit of some ups and downs as well as manicured dirt lanes and well mowed grass roads. Vary the experience a bit with a loop thru fields of hay, corn and Christmas trees. Take it all in as the leaves start to change, symbolizing both the beauty of the new fall season as well as some of the reasons we love it here. You will too. Walk is an all abilities, easy stroll thru our neighborhood on a closed street designed to be fun for the entire family.
CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT
Cornhole Tournament held in conjunction with our Celebration of Community event. Traditional bracket tournament with first run pick your partner, second run blind draw. Terrific environment loads of food and drink as well as plenty of other activities at the same event for your entire family to attend while you are in the tournament.
