Historic Bus Tour of Bushkill Township
Join Jacobsburg Historical Society and the Bushkill Township Board of Supervisors for a guided tour of the township. The tour explores historic sites and venues throughout the township and visits the many acres of land preserved under the Township Open Space Program. The 25 mile, two hour excursion will have a special air-conditioned tour coach (with a rest room). The two trips will take place on Saturday August 22nd at 10:00am and 12:00pm, rain or shine. The tour begins and ends at the Bushkill Township Office Building on Bushkill Center Road. Parking will be available across the street in the parking lot. The Bushkill Township Heritage Committee will be exhibiting photo display boards in the Bushkill Township Community room from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Bushkill Township was founded August 13, 1813, originally part of Plainfield Township known as the "Plains".
There are a limited number of seats, so be sure to register ahead to reserve yours for $25/person
