City Nature Challenge Guided Hike at Piedras Marcadas Canyon, Petroglyph National Monument
This hike is part of the City Nature Challenge event happening April 26-29, 2024. During this hike, you are invited to participate in citizen science to collect data on native wildlife using the iNaturalist app. This event is fun for the whole family! Trail is 1.5 miles roundtrip. No amenities available so bring plenty of water. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable hiking/walking shoes with good ankle support. Trail is sandy with no seating along the way. Over 300 petroglyphs are visible on this trail.
