Rio Grande Food Project's 10th Annual Hike to End Hunger
Join Rio Grande Food Project for a fun morning at Pat Hurley Park and enjoy a heart-healthy walk, lawn games, partner organizations, face painting, and special guests-Albuquerque’s own Headphone Dance Party! The family-friendly trail is stroller and dog friendly. Registration sign in/starts at 9:30 am. Hike starts after 10am, along the park’s lower loop area with a gradual incline up to the park’s upper loop area with one of the best views of the city. The Lower Loop and Upper Loop Trails combined are 1.1 miles, and if you prefer a longer hike, you can double the Upper Loop or choose from 3 different stair trails for a more strenuous workout. If you don't hike- join in our Headphone Dance Party! Partners/vendors include: our Master Gardener team, our Master Composter team, Animal Humane, Kids Cook, Walk with a Doc, US Eagle Federal Credit Union, and Libros 4 Kids! Free flu shots! Bring your gardening questions for our Master Gardener team! Interested in composting- we've got info! Free raffle for participation in events- and we will be collecting non-perishable food donations at the event.

Food/drinks and Hike t's available for purchase. Please join us for a FUN morning in the gorgeous Pat Hurley Park, Lower Loop! (limited parking is available at the Lower Loop lot and street parking is available- please be respectful of our Park neighbors- drive friendly and do not block driveways, etc.)
