Join us for Boogey Bash: a night of Boogeyman, bingo and belief at Painted Lady Bed & Brew, where folklore, fear, and fresh beer collide beneath the flicker of the Ghost Light.
The evening begins with author Jeff C. Carter presenting The Boogeyman Is Real, a chilling dive into the folklore, local legends, archetypes, and long-buried scandals that have kept humanity sleeping with one eye open for generations. Part history lecture, part fireside nightmare, the presentation explores the strange truths lurking beneath our oldest fears and asks a simple question: what if the monster under the bed was never imaginary?
Then the terror drifts into the Beer Garden for Scary Movie Bingo featuring the delightfully haunted 1986 Disney cult classic Mr. Boogedy. Watch for jump scares, cursed objects, creepy tropes, and iconic quotes to mark your bingo card for spooky prizes and ultimate bragging rights beneath the New Mexico night sky.
Throughout the evening, raise a pint for the release of our sinister new Boogeyman beer, brewed specially for the occasion. Between the scares, the laughter, and the stories, you may even encounter one of the Painted Lady’s permanent residents lingering in the shadows.
