Goldings-Bernstein-Stewart Organ Trio
Hammond B3 organist Larry Goldings, guitarist Peter Bernstein, and drummer Bill Stewart have played together as a trio for over 30 years. Recognized for charting new ground with their “synergistic playing, and thoughtful music,” they have released over a dozen recordings, all of which highlight their distinctive sound, which explores the depths of jazz standards and their own original work. Of their latest release, Toy Tunes Downbeat writes, “The whole album subtly subverts organ-trio cliches, offering not chicken-shack party stomps but instead some hip after-hours atmospherics.”
