This comedic opera, which like Rossini’s Barber of Seville features characters from Pierre Beaumarchais‘ play of the same name, tells the story of events leading up to the wedding of Figaro and Susanna. Comedic duplicity, jealousy, and love triangles abound in this delightful story set to Mozart’s beautiful score.
