If you are tired of watching your favorite NFL team lose, if you are tired of the boring halftime talk show,
if you are tired of watching a bunch of cars race around a track for four hours,
then coming to our concert is just what you need!
We are pleased to welcome a guest conductor who will be sharing duties with our director John Sanks. Our special guest conductor is Bill Austell from Tome ES in Los Lunas, where he was hired to create a music program for all students, grades PreK through 6th. Bill has worked with Los Lunas HS, Valencia HS and Valencia MS. Mr. Austell is President of the Central NM Music Educators Association and this past year, was inducted into the NMMEA Hall of Fame.
We will be paying a music tribute to world-renowned composer Robert W. Smith, who passed away in September, by performing two of his works, "The Ascension and The Inferno", from the Divine Comedy. Mr. Smith had been a guest conductor of the ACB back in December 2017 where we performed some of his holiday compositions.
