Clay Cryptids and Ghost Stories
Start spooky season off right!
Come make clay cryptids and listen to ghost stories in this fun and spooky team up featuring Abq. Ghost Tours!
At this community event, you'll learn the basics of how to create different kinds of creatures using a variety of bodies, head shapes, wings, horns and other creepy additions! This specialty class will be taught by Beau, who will provide hands-on instruction about constructing small critters, proper attachment techniques, and how to add details to bring your cryptid friends to life! After the demonstration provided by Beau, we will distribute clay and tools and welcome the Ghost Hunters to the stage!
Abq. Ghost Tours will be joining us to tell local ghost stories as we create our monsters and hang out! Our guest story teller(s) have been providing historical/ghost stories and tours locally for over 24 years- they are the real deal!
This class is designed to be a spooky community event for all ages and experience levels. No prior experience is required and materials and tools are provided and included in the price!
At the end of your time with us, you'll have the opportunity to choose your favorite glaze color from our extensive glaze options to complete your piece! Your selected piece will be fired and glazed by studio staff and will be available for pick-up October 10th & 11th (12-6pm) or by appointment!
