Hammered Coin Demonstration
Join the Albuquerque Coin Club and explore the history behind coin making. Club members will demonstrate the making of a coin with a hammer and a die in a wood stump. Learn more about pre-coinage and hammered coinage from Roderick Frechette, the American Numismatic Association 2022 Numismatist of the Year and 2022 Glenn Smedley Award Recipient. Stay for the demonstration and take home a souvenir.
