Come celebrate the release of the 2024 Two Sylvias Press Chapbook Prize winner, "When I Say Ghost, I Don't Mean Dead" with New Mexico poet Zachary Kluckman!
Selected by acclaimed poet Oliver de la Paz, author of "the Diaspora Sonnets", longlisted for the National Book Award, this new work from the Albuquerque based poet explores haunting as both an external and internal experience and invites the reader to consider what it means to be haunted—and what it takes to finally name the ghost.
"This is an extraordinary meditation on the apparitions that keep pace with us, stride for stride." ~ Oliver de la Paz
Kluckman will invite select readers to share some of their own poetry, and will then present a reading of material from his award winning new collection. There will be a short Q&A and book signing afterwards.
Join us for poetry, community and conversation at one of Albuquerque's finest book stores!
