The Delaware Valley is invited to empower "Our Race. Our Community. Our Cures!� at dozens of in-person registration events for the Susan G. Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure. Every dollar counts in saving lives, with last year's Race generating more than $2 million in grants to local organizations for breast heath and breast cancer programs. Plus, this year, all official Race registrants will receive a green wristband entitling them to V.I.P. services, perks and surprises on Race day, Mother's Day May 13. All children under 12 registering with one adult gains free admission to the Kids for the Cure: UnitedHealthcare Dash to Make a Difference, also happening on Race day.
At all in-person registrations, people can register for the Race and leave with their 2012 t-shirt, runner bib and other materials submit fundraising and purchase car-raffle tickets, SEPTA passes and parking/shuttle passes for Race day. Fees are just $35 for adults, $15 for children. In-person registration events start Saturday, April 14 and run through Race weekend. For times and locations visit KomenPhiladelphia.org/PhillyRace.
