Lamb Jam series at Two Rock Ranch in Berne features Shelving Rock
BERNE, NY Shelving Rock—Stephen Iachetta, T. Breeze Verdant, and Annie Landenberger --perform Saturday, September 21, 3-7 PM at Two Rock Ranch, 78 Turner Rd., Berne, NY.
As part of Two Rock Ranch's LAMB JAM 2024 series, Shelving Rock will be playing "music for happy feet." Iachetta, “the Shaker fiddler” and Verdant, "a folker with a rock and roll heart," have performed together for nearly 20 years finding themselves at farmers' markets, fairs/festivals, brew pubs, special events, and --opening for Natalie Merchant.
Iachetta on mandolin and fiddler and Verdant on guitar, vocals and stomp box have been joined since 2017 by Landenberger on vocals and percussion –all playing an eclectic range of tunes honing sweet harmonies, driving rhythms and several Verdant originals.
Iachetta’s sound is nuanced and versatile, Verdant has a half a century of composing and playing rock/folk under his belt while Landenberger has performed folk to jazz and musicals.
About the trio it’s been said, “you never know what to expect next” from this well-blended, upbeat group.
Admission to the rain-or-shine event is free. Concert-goers can enjoy, according to Two Rock's Emily Vincent "food, drinks, music, farm tours, baby lambs and chicks, horses, and games."
