Home bakers were still making their own, too. How did these breads differ from each other, and how do they compare to breads today? Join Amy Halloran on Saturday, November 18 at 2:00 p.m. for an exploration of Troy breads, and hear the stories of Freihofer's and a few area bakeries of much smaller scale. Recipes & samples will be provided! This talk is part of a grant Amy received with the help of the Troy Waterfront Farmers' Market, where she's hosting food memory booths this fall.
