Black Family Wellness Expo by the Albany District (NY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated
Representatives of local businesses and health resource organizations will be in attendance to help educate participants and share their programs on health services and healthy lifestyle options in the Capital Region. This free event will include refreshments, free health screenings, prizes and fun activities for the entire family.
Some of the issues the March 21 event will address include: maternal health; breast and prostate cancer, diabetes heart health; blood donations; organ/tissue donor awareness/signup; dental health; mental health awareness and resources; suicide signs and prevention; aging; dementia; caregiver resources; financial wellness; voter registration and information; and more.
