That Time of Year Reading Series: Cat Tyc, Andrea Kleine, Laura van den Berg
Please join us for the launch of THAT TIME OF YEAR, a new reading series at Spotty Dog Books, 440 Warren St, in Hudson, NY on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 7pm.
THAT TIME OF YEAR is a quarterly-ish reading series featuring writers sharing work around a theme. August’s theme is “Animalia: writers and animals.” The inaugural event will welcome poet and essayist, Cat Tyc, and novelists Andrea Kleine and Laura van den Berg.

About the Writers on August 10
Cat Tyc is an interdisciplinary writer/artist who has three chapbooks, AN ARCHITECTURAL SEANCE (dancing girl press & studio), CONSUMES ME (Belladonna* Collaborative) and I AM BECAUSE MY LITTLE DOG KNOWS ME (Blush Lit).
Laura van den Berg is the author of five works of fiction, and a recent Guggenheim and NEA fellow. Her new novel, STATE OF PARADISE (FSG), published in July.
Andrea Kleine is the author of the novels, CALF (Soft Skull Press) and EDEN (HMH/Mariner). Her feature film, THE END IS NOT WHAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE, created in isolation during the pandemic, is now streaming.
