SVCOA Community Health Day in Pownal
Join us for the Community Health Day on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 12 PM to 2 PM at the Solomon Wright Public Library, located at 97 Main St, Pownal VT, 05261 Organized by SVCOA in partnership with various local organizations, this event provides attendees with an array of free health services and resources.
Participants can receive complimentary health screenings, including Stay Steadi screenings, consultations, and information on wellness and self-advocacy. The event is supported by several community partners such as MyHealthyVT, VNA of the Southwestern Region, VT Food Bank, VT Medical Reserve Corps, , among others. These groups will offer valuable resources and guidance on topics ranging from nutrition and chronic disease management to information about community support services. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with local organizations, learn more about available health resources, and take proactive steps toward better health.
