Poestenkill Library Spring Market Day Saturday, May 4th
The Friends of the Poestenkill Library will once again be hosting a Market Day fundraiser on the library grounds. Join us from 9 am to noon to make your selections from the many, many books for sale. Bring your own bag and fill it with books for only $5 or buy a Friends of the Poestenkill Library bag for $1.
Check out our bake sale offering delicious homemade goodies, enjoy the hotdogs and chili, buy tickets for the gift basket drawings. There is a drawing for a beautiful library themed quilt as well as the popular drawing for 3 hours of excavation work. This year you can also ‘touch the excavator’!
If you would like to help with this fundraiser, donations from your kitchen are gratefully accepted for the bake sale and should be left at the library on Friday, May 3rd (until 1 pm) or at the bake sale table on Saturday morning, May 4th. Donations for the book sale may be left at the library anytime during library hours. And donations of themed gift baskets are welcome at any time after May 1st. Volunteers for the day of the sale are also most welcome.
