The Mohawk Valley Library System is offering Digital Literacy for Beginners. Join us and learn the basics of using a Windows PC. We'll explore the functions of a computer and the Windows environment. Use the internet to find information and navigate websites. Best practices for internet safety and privacy will be highlighted.
MVLS was among 160 public libraries nationwide to be awarded funding by the Public Library Association and supported by AT&T to conduct digital literacy workshops using PLA's free training site, Digitallearn.org, to help close the digital divide.
This is a three-class series, meeting Nov. 1, Nov. 8 and Nov. 15, and the expectation is to attend all (3) classes.
