Grosse Isle — Live at Old Songs
The traditional-music trio Grosse Isle was born out of the collaboration between three exceptional musicians from Quebec and Ireland: Sophie Lavoie (fiddle, piano, vocal), André Marchand (guitar, vocal), and Fiachra O’Regan (uilleann pipes, whistle, banjo). Fusing Irish and Québécois repertoire with original compositions, the band offers a harmonious blend of the two cultures. Whether they’re performing laments or more rhythmic songs, the authenticity and the immense talent of the artists are equally obvious!
