Vale Park Community Cleanup Day
Are you ready to have some fun, make a difference, and connect with some great people?! Come join us for the Vale Park Clean Up!
Event Address: Nott Terr &, Franklin St, Schenectady, NY 12307 (we will meet inside the park near Nott Terrace (across from Stewart)
We will focus this first two part cleaning on the lower part of the park and will move up path as we have capacity.
On Sunday, two shifts are available:
Shift 1 9 - 12
Shift 2 1- 4

Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing* and get ready to have some fun!
* Long pants, long sleeves, sturdy shoes with good tread, weather-appropriate outer-gear, and gloves if you have them (some will be provided). All volunteers will also need to have a signed waiver (we will provide but here's a preview)
Project Goals:
Clean Vale Park and restores its natural beauty and tranquilty for residents to enjoy this summer!
Empower volunteers to make a difference in the cleanup of Vale Park. We will bag trash and collect recyclable organic material (sticks and branches) so that City staff can easily remove them.
Inspire civic pride & participation. We will elevate awareness of civic organizations and invite volunteers and passersby to register to vote, and join the ONE Schenectady movement.
Have fun together while building community!
